The other week, we went on a Road trip to Ohio. Its a Good 5 hour drive from where we live… So We loaded up the car and thing to keep the kids occupied and off we went. Well thanks to Verizon, I was able to take the Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet with us – So I could keep occupied on this road trip as well.
For many people tablets are great for Web browsing, downloading movies, gaming, and much more. But, actions including note taking, photo editing and multitasking have proved challenging for some. Following a trend started with the Galaxy Note II, the Galaxy Note 10.1® features the advanced S Pen™ stylus. Business professionals can take notes during meetings with handwriting-to-text capabilities, and drawing tools to jot down plans. Notes can be saved and shared over 4G LTE with coworkers and clients. What makes this tablet different are a couple of features. The first advantage is that it is on the Verizon 4G LTE network. Other features include those found on the Galaxy Note II smartphone. It has a split screen feature that lets you have two apps open at once on the screen. So for example, you can have the browser open with an article you’re reading and your email app to compose or read emails. For photo editing, the Galaxy Note 10.1® runs Adobe® Photoshop® Touch. Combined with the S Pen™, building visual effects, such as layering, blending and filters, can be used by designers to show drafts or mock-ups to potential clients. Users can combine and manipulate images creatively with the S Pen™, then upload work to the cloud using 4G LTE to access their portfolio just about anywhere. Watching television with a second screen has become second nature for many. For TV fans, the Galaxy Note 10.1® features the Smart Remote, powered by Peel, to turn the tablet into a universal remote control. The tablet can control an entire home entertainment system and even recommend programs.
This has to be one of my favorite tablets yet. Not only does it feel sturdy under my hands, but it has been far more functional than the other tablets I have tested before. Just like the Samsung Galaxy Note Cell phone, this also has the Note pad feature. For all those who didn’t see that post – I LOVE the notepad feature. I took this tablet to a meeting – and was able to keep up with my notes, plus also do some of my Social Media Shout outs! With the notepad feature, you can either use a stylus or just use the keyboard to type. The other feature that I LOVED about this tablet… Is the Samsung Photo Capability. We were at Fort Rapids water park and hotel – and I used the Table to take pictures and post them to Facebook! You just can’t beat the the quality of the Photos! We put this tablet to use through the whole weekend. I did not have to charge it at ALL through the 4 1/2-5 hour car ride!
When you look for a tablet, What is the most important feature for you?
