We never had candy in our stockings as kids, so I’m used to not doing that, but it is sometimes hard to think of little things they’d enjoy. I like your list, hadn’t thought of them, particularly the art supplies which is a great idea.

Awesome ideas. It is hard to get larger toys to fit in stocking stuffers. I try to avoid chocolate that melts but I forgot about other toys.
I like the matchbox car idea, they are always fun and as they grow up they can be a collectible and a sweet reminder of childhood….so I’ll be adding those to the list.
Crafting and art supplies are a good way to get a child’s creative juices flowing, are great for a rainy afternoon and something you can do together…so I will be adding them to stockings this year.
For me, I’m not so sure about getting jewelry as that is so much a personal taste kind of thing for teens and they are sometimes so hard to figure out. It’s always a tough call, if you ask them what they want, there is no surprise and if you guess and you’re wrong, they are so disappointed.

I like the idea of personalizing stockings too by adding in little notes with IOU coupons….things like they could request their favorite meal, or breakfast in bed, or a trip to the batting cages, etc.
Oh, that’s a great idea too! I know a few people who would love to get an IOU coupon or two in their stocking.
