I love the fact my Stepdaughter is in her Junior High Band.  I love the fact that she’s a flute player!  I played flute in High School myself! 😀

I also love the sound of the Oboe.  It was the instrument I wanted to play going into Junior High, but it was just not a common instrument!

I hope to go to my children’s recitals/plays when they are older. My husband was a music teacher and I did quite a bit of music and theatre in high school and in college. So, maybe they will get some of that “bug.” You must have been so proud to watch your step daughter! Thank you for sharing!

That brings back memories 🙂 I played the clarinet, and my daughter played the flute.
