Since Peanut was born I have tried different things to try to loose weight.  I have tried different supplements –  with no weight change.  I’ve tried doing a high protein, low carb diet – with very minor weight change.  I started using my elliptical more often  – with very little weight change.  So I knew I needed something to help me jump start my body and get it to realize that it needs to loose weight.
Nutrisystem-Fast-Five-BoxMy Nutrisystem Journey started out with the Fast 5+.  For those who don’t know what the Fast5+ is:  With the Fast Five you are suppose to loose at least 5 pounds and 1″.   As you can see, they sent a week worth of meals – 7 Breakfast, 7 Lunch and 7 Dinner plus a Box of each the Nutri-Crush and Energi-Zing for shakes.  With the Fast 5 You eat just the meals provide, plus add in at least 4 servings of Vegetables.  I was actually very surprised that With just the meals given I wasn’t feeling hungry by the end of the day.  Did I like every meal? No, there were a couple meals that I wasn’t fond of, but I was still able to eat them.   I really did enjoy the shakes.  It took a day to get use to the flavor, but after that I looked forward to my morning shake and my afternoon shake.
Nutrisystem-Fast-Five-DayThis had to be one of my favorite days for meals.  I purposely saved the Double Chocolate Muffin for the 7th Day of the Fast5 Plan.   That was my way to celebrate the completion of the first week!  And I’m so glad I did.  If I could, I would probably eat Double Chocolate Muffins for breakfast every day.  The downfall, I did have to share it with Peanut.  I really didn’t have much of an option, she climbed right up and helped herself to some.

Yes.  I won’t deny it.  This was the first week of the program… Eating my prepackaged meal while watching the hubby, lil C and Peanut eat a different meal, made me really miss the home cooking. But I know I need to keep my head focused and strive to reach my goal.    And I think it paid off.  Nutrisystem-Weight-a

Weight: 208.8 lbs (-5.4lbs)
Chest:  41.25″ (-.25″)
Waist: 37.75″ (-.5″)
Hips:  49.25″ (-1″)
Butt: 50″ (-1″)
Right Thigh: 28.25″ (Same)
Left Thigh: 28.25″ (Same)
Right Arm: 15.5″ (Same)
Left Arm:  15.5″ (Same)

    Great job!!!! Congrats on the weight loss!! I’m sure it was hard being the only one in your family on the plan but you did it!! You have every right to be incredibly proud of yourself! Keep up the great work!

    I’ve struggled with my weight since having baby #3 and as you know I now have #5. I get rid of some of it just to get more of it back. I haven’t tried to lose weight for real since 5 years ago and I lost 30 lbs doing one of these programs. I was walking every day, even in the snow. I don’t know if i can do an elliptical or not, but as long as you have something that keeps you active and you can continue to eat healthy I think you’ll do great. Good luck, look forward to watching your progress. Oh and I loved the little chocolate muffins and cookies. Course I’m a sucker for chocolate.
