Just the other day, Peanut was playing and she told me that she was going on a Holiday. I asked her what holiday meant and she let me know that it was going on a trip – like when we went to Florida. So today the hubby and I asked her where she wanted to go for a Holiday and she told us that she wanted to go to a Waterpark. And with the way this weather has been, I would love to be sitting poolside – instead of seeing snow. I know Peanut and Lil C are going to be so surprised because after the school year ends, we are going to take a little road trip to Ohio. Can you guess where we’re going to visit? If you Said Kalahari Resorts, you are 100% Correct!
I have partnered with Kalahari Resorts to bring you this post – but all thoughts and emotions are my own.

Peanut is so cute with her wanting a “holiday”! <3 Love it! I don't blame her though! My kids have been asking to go to the water park for a while now, too! We definitely need to plan a weekend away!

My kids , husband and I have never been to a Kalahari resort. I have heard good things about it from my sister who has gone with her family. We live in ohio not too far from Sandusky, but far enough that this would be like a mini vacation for us!
Sarah says
Kalahari looks like so much fun! We have been to indoor waterparks but not Kalahari!
The outdoor rope course and zip lining would be fun to do too!
Jessi Housel says
I like that there are food options so I don’t need to worry about packing and cooking while staying at Kalahari or having to leave to eat. I realize this is sometime many might not think about ahead of time but it is great to have the option to eat on site.

This past summer we went to a waterpark in Kansas for the day (we live in Ohio); I was nervous my kids would be too little to enjoy much but I was wrong. We haven’t been to Kalahari before but based on your blog post I can see that there is so much to do. I think my kids would have a blast at Kalahari and would be begging for a second trip.

This looks so cool. My four kids would so love to go on a vacation like this.
Sarah says
There is so much to do at Kalahari! It all looks like a lot of fun! My kids would never want to leave!

I would love to surprise my family with an overnight stay at Kalahari!

We just visited the Columbus Zoo and aquarium yesterday and my kids could see the attached waterpark that is really designed for big kids. I explained that some places with water slides and play places are better designed for families like our (little kids included). From what I can see Kalahari is the kinda place my kids would enjoy more- it would be such a bonus to be able to go back to a hotel room when we would need a break.

My kids have never been to a waterpark, I would love to have a little getaway!!

Amy, thanks for the chance. Have never been there 🙁
Sarah says
Thanks for the chance at this awesome getaway! We have never been to Kalahari.

My family won’t be going on a long vacation this year because of my husband’s aging parents’ needs so because Kalahari is only a couple of hours from where we live in Ohio it might be perfect for a mini vacation for my family. I will def. need to consider it as a way to have family fun but still be close enough to those who may need us.

My family is always looking for fun and new thinks to do and try. We like to have both big and little adventures. For us little adventures can be trying new recipes or foods and big adventures me going to new places or trying new things. Adventures don’t always turn out perfect, but we try to make fun the focus! Thanks for the chance to win a new family adventure.
Sarah says
I would love to surprise my daughters with an overnight stay at Kalahari!

The Bug Burrows sound so fun! My two young kids would enjoy pretending to be little critters. The idea is super clever, very muchly ideal for families with small children. We’ve never been to Kalahari but I have a feeling this would be a favorite spot.

Kalahari is so much fun, we always have such a great time when we visit the location in Sandusky. We like going down the slides together as a family and also the Cheetah Race, I have a tendency to win most of the time probably due to my size! I would love to take the kids this summer to experience the new outdoor section.

Kalahari is on my family’s bucket list! We would love to take this adventure!
Jim says
We’d love a chance to experience Kalahari!!

The Kalahari in Sandusky is a great place to visit, they’ve even added on some new outdoor slides since the last time we stayed. Along with all the water activities they also have a great arcade and petting zoo!
Jessi Housel says
The Desert hut room sounds perfect for my family of 4. I like the idea of having a room at the location of a water park so it would be easier to go back and rest after a day playing in water. I also like the idea of having a location to get kid pleasing meals on location as well. Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky sounds like a great family trip location.
Jeffrey says
Kalahari is a great place for kids and adults of all ages. We always have a great time while visiting the Sandusky location. The food is great and the waterpark is awesome, there is so many different things to do. My boys love the slides and the wave pool, as do I, but most of the time you’ll find me relaxing in one of the many hot tubs!
Jessi Housel says
Life is short and full of tough times for everyone and sometimes we get caught up in the business of daily life. I think it’s so important to find ways to make lasting memories full of joy and happiness with our families. A trip to Kalahari resort would a place I can see happy memories being made.
Rachel Krych says
Our family LOVES Kalahari! It’s a perfect place for a day (or two) away! We can’t wait to check out the new waterslide!
Jeffrey says
Kalahari is the premier water park in Ohio! The overall size of the place is amazing and they even added on more slides since we’ve visited. We don’t spend much time in the arcade while visiting, but it truly is a great compliment to the overall facility. Both my boys, even though they are getting older, really enjoy the animal encounter area. Some people don’t realize how big of a banquet area they have as well.
Jessi Housel says
Because my family has never been to Kalahari I would like to take them. My husband is a teacher and my daughter will be finishing her first year in Kindergarten. They both deserve a special surprise like a trip to Kalahari resorts. My son is also going to start speech therapy this week and so it would be a fun reward for him as well. It really isn’t too hard to come up with reasons to spend time together and make a trip to Kalahari a fun family adventure.
Jennifer Marie says
My boys would love a stay here! They would love all the water slides!
