What was on My Wedding Gift List? A Cuisinart 5-Speed Hand Mixer from ATG Stores

Even though Jeff and I are Have combined households, there are still randoms that we need. And there’s a bunch of things that we want.   For example, I never had a Hand Mixer.  When I wanted to make cakes or anything, I had to call my mom and ask to borrow hers.  Now Jeff, he HAS a mixer… but i think its about 100 years old… So one thing that we knew we wanted was a New Hand Mixer. I chose the Cusinart 5-Speed Hand Mixer with my ATG Stores gift card.  Did you know when you spend over $29.99 you get free shipping?!  That made this purchase even better!   I secretly like to bake.  I don’t do it often.  But I love making Cookies and Cakes.  I have a wonderful Stand Mixer that I use to make cookies, but I prefer a hand mixer when we are making cakes or even pancakes for the family (and friends).  The Cuisinart comes in Black, White, Light Green and Light Yellow.  It also comes in a blue, but it appeared to be out of stock.

We have only just started putting this mixer to the test.  It  may look like it is heavy and bulky from the pictures, but it is actually very manageable in weight.  It doesn’t tire my arms out just trying to mix cake batter.   We chose black to give a little more sleek look to our appliances.  I would have loved to go with the blue or even the green, but we figured it was more retro in coloring, and black was very neutral.  I prefer not having white appliances, because it always seems over time they just don’t stay white.   I can see this mixer getting LOTS of use in the upcoming weeks – especially with the wedding coming up.  Our Matron of Honor and Best Man are flying in on Thursday and staying til Sunday.  We will also have both the kids with us.. and possibly our other bridesmaid and groomsman will be here as well.    So this will defiantly be a need for breakfast in the morning.  Jeff can make some VERY DELICIOUS Pancakes!!! and when you’re going to be cooking for 8 – and all but 1 is an adult size…  That’s a LOT of batter!
