This summer is a Summer all about Change.  It’s a change of season, change of temperature, change of free-time and a change of lifestyles.  Sometimes change is scary, but it is usually very good.     This year a lot of things are going to be happening.  First, I have been looking at Changing Jobs.  I was let go from one of my jobs a few months back, which was a huge change, but now I am going down another career path.  Next, I will be changing my name.    As you all know, I am getting married in the end of August. I am so looking forward to that.  But the biggest change  is moving.  Thankfully I my brother is already working on trying to purchase my townhouse from me.   We had a verbal agreement set up- I would be leaving him some of the larger things – like furniture that he’ll need and we would basically just go from me owning it, to him owning it… with no time lapse, but the complex office informed me differently.  So now my plans of moving have changed Drastically – everything is being sped up  just a little.   With that said, now my fiancee and I have started putting together our “want” list for the house.

Instead of packing, I have been daydreaming…. And playing on the internet looking for good deals. While searching coupon codes,  I came across Marks and Spencers promo codes, and just had to check out the website.   Knowing I can get a great deal on items I need and want,  AND use a promo code… Score!  I figured I would share with you the top 3 things on my want list.

1.  New bedroom set for lil C:  It’s not that he doesn’t have a bedroom set… But everything has been borrowed.  The bed he’s using  is actually the spare bed from my parents house (so I didn’t have to financially struggle to buy him a bed when I left my ex husband) The dresser he has was from Lil C’s Great Grandma’s house.  Not that I am complaining at all for the Generosity of family… But with all the Recent QUICK changes, I would love to give him something NEW and something of his own.the heat is on... ;)

2.  New Grill:  My guy – he knows how to cook! Woot Woot for me (because I am fairly cooking impaired   And with the summer coming up, He has already talked about how he wants to be able to cook outside and use the grill more.  We have a grill currently, but… It has so seen better days.  Shh, It has a pop can for a drip tray…. 🙁

3.  A New Wardrobe:  I have a lot of clothes yes, but… Everything is Michigan Geared.  A lot of hoodies, jeans, sweats, and just a handful of summer stuff.  The lack of summer stuff was mainly due to me working so much – and having to wear a uniform, so I never needed to worry about what to wear.   But this summer I am going to Florida for a week – for our honeymoon.   So I defiantly need to find some CUTE clothes, that will flatter my shape.

So that’s my top 3 wants for this summer.  Personally, I will only shop for things, when I can get a good deal on them.  So finding websites that have great promo codes are my way to go.   What are on your top Wants for this summer?

Wow big changes coming for you. Congratulations! These are some great goals. I remember starting out new how fun but scary at the same time. I have two top wants for summer. 1) welcoming a healthy, bouncy G’daughter. Novalee will be here July 4th. 2) Is to spend as much time as possible at the beach. So looking forward to summer my favorite time of the year!

This summer is the first summer EVER that my husband and I will totally be alone without extended family living with us. We are planning to do some affordable staycations and short distance traveling with our three young children to places like Sesame Place and Hershey, PA. We are definitely planning to bbq a lot and go enjoy the Jersey beaches so we are so excited about getting to do so before baby #4 arrives in September.

I would love for this summer to be warm but not overly so and moderate rain so I can visit the town pool often. Last year it was mostly a washout since it seemed to rain every weekend. I also love barbequing and inviting friends and family. No vacation for us this year due to budget issues.

I think when getting married your wants (and/or needs) can be more expansive. I’m having a low-key summer, and just wanting some nice weather and some get-togethers, and day trips! I can’t wait for the county fairs to start!
