I love my Droid 2 Global phone.  It has everything that I need – internet access, a touch screen and also a slide out keyboard!  When I originally looked for a new phone (months and months back now) I knew it needed a slide out keyboard.  Trying to write more than just a sentence or two with a touch screen would drive me crazy.  Now, they have the Droid 3…and boy I am wishing I would have tried holding off on getting a phone for months!

A little about the Droid 3:  DROID 3 by Motorola is the world’s thinnest full QWERTY smartphone ever, and still delivers the power of a dual-core 1 GHz processor for fast multi-tasking.  Customers can take stunning photos with the 8-megapixel camera or capture the moment in 1080p HD video. Equipped with Android 2.3, the DROID 3 by Motorola features a brilliant 4-inch qHD display, a roomy 5-row QWERTY keyboard and 3G Mobile Hotspot capabilities, with the ability to connect up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices.  DROID 3 by Motorola delivers the power needed to conquer the day whether customers are at home, work or somewhere in between.

Both the Droid 2 and 3 are comparable when it comes to styles and shapes…. but the Droid 3 has much more to offer.   The biggest thing that I noted between both the droids is that the Droid 3 is a little bit larger…. AND it has a LARGER keypad!  Dont get me wrong, I have become very comfortable using the keypad on the Droid 2, but it is so nice knowing that one of my fingers isn’t going to cover almost 3 letters on the Droid 3.  Most of the features and lay outs are very similar between the two – so if you are looking at upgrading from your Droid 2 soon –  I would defiantly recommend looking at the Droid 3.
