On November 10th (at the Sheraton Novi – 21111 Haggerty Rd., 48375), Tummys. Tinys. Tots. & Tween Expo (Tummys-Tween Expo) will present a one-stop pampering, shopping and educational experience that combines fun and relaxation for parents and children alike. The expo boasts a full day of activities and engaging experiences for new and expecting moms and children up to 12 years old. A portion of proceeds will benefit The Bottomless Toy Chest, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to delivering art projects, crafts, and interactive toys to hospitalized pediatric cancer patients. Upon entering the stroller and kid-friendly expo entrance [the first 350] guests will be greeted with lavish gift bags filled with magazines, product samples and offers from sponsors and expo partners.
IvesSweetsNTreats sponsors “CRAVE” sweet stations, where bakeries and sweet confectioners will serve up delectable treats such as chocolate covered popcorn, cake pops, cupcakes, fruit, pretzels and more! While indulging in their cravings, guests can enjoy refreshing Absopure water and “mama-tinis” (non-alcholic versions of pink and blue lemonade in martini glasses). The worlds’ favorite characters Mickey & Minnie will make a special appearance from noon-2pm. Children can prepare for a meet & greet, plus photo opportunities with the characters!
Boutique style fashion shows, presented by Spoil ‘Em Rotten Boutique, will leave attendees ooh-ing and aah-ing over miniature models as the belles and beaus present the latest and trendiest apparel and accessory styles of the season. Model makeovers are courtesy of Fantastic Faces.
“Tummy Strut” is a runway show featuring live “tummy ” participation. Expecting moms will be pulled from the audience onto the stage to showoff and strut their tummys and maternity styles.
Pure Day Salon & Spa will pamper moms and guests with complimentary hand and arm massages. The company will also participate in the Mommy Makeover Bar along with Fantastic Faces Cosmetics. At the Mommy Makeover Bar, guests will experience mini-makeovers, nail polish changes, eyebrow arches and more when they sit down for this spoil session!
This much anticipated expo will feature train rides, bounce houses, complimentary childcare, face painting, sweet stations, live characters, craft tables, belly painting, prizes, fashion shows, mommy makeovers, gift bags, demos & more! Moms can truly enjoy the experience of the expo by dropping their children off at the complimentary childcare provider of the day, located just inside of the exhibit hall, provided courtesy of Little Angels Watching Care.
