Many times over I have heard the saying “Today I marry my best friend”. Up until today I didn’t really ever know what that meant. in under15 hours I will be walking down the aisle and getting to say I Do to the man I love.
We had the rehearsal today and then everyone came back to our house for dinner. The parents all left first… and then the siblings left, leaving just the bridal party to relax and talk…It was completely perfect. Then the guys all left, leaving just my bridesmaids, lil C and myself. It feels so weird being home… but not having Jeff here as well. Let’s hope I can sleep! So many things are rushing through my mind….I just want everything to be perfect…
I really never thought that I would feel this way. If you would have asked me two years ago, I would have told you that you were crazy. That we were only friends and that was all I would ever be with any guy.. and if you would have told me that I would be planning a wedding… I would have said you were crazy. But over the past years we became even closer friends. He is an amazing Step dad to lil C and a great daddy to lil miss. And who knows… maybe one day we will be able to mix a child of our own into the bunches.
At 3 pm (est) I will be getting ready to marry my best friend

Congratulations. It truly is a huge blessing to be married to your best friend. I know it was the best thing to happen to me, and I never saw it coming. 🙂
