wedding rings 2aOne of the first things that Jeff and I decided on was our bridal party colors.  We ended up going with a purple tone – which reminded me of a royal purple.  So after knowing what color we wanted to go with, I started scouring the internet to find the perfect bouquet.  There were so many to choose from.  After narrowing my flower choice down to Calla Lilies, I then searched Pinterest and Etsy… and that’s when I came across the Bloomed To Last Etsy site.  Right away I fell in love with her arrangements.  I wanted to work with Bloomed To Last for my wedding guide – And that I did.bloomed-to-last-1

A little about Bloomed To Last: Kristi Started BloomedToLast after she married.  While planning her wedding she realized that most companies out there were for themselves and not for the bride.  Having had experience in retail, She knew how important it was for the customer to be happy with their services… Which is something that was hard to find in the Wedding industry.   In 2001 Bloomed To Last Was born.  “If you’re here, it is critical for you to know that I completely understand where you are coming from and want to help you get the wedding (or event) you have always dreamed of.” (Kristi from Bloomed To Last)

When I got word that Kristi was wanting to work with me on this event, I was ecstatic, but nervous at the same time.  I had thousands of questions running through my head.   I mean we are from two different states.  She’s never met me before.  How will she know what I like?  Will she understand how elegant, yet simple, I am wanting my wedding to be?  Will I like what she creates?  I was about to find out.

My journey working with Bloomed To Last was better than I could ever have expected. Most of the time, we corresponded via email, but she did give me a call when we first started putting together the bouquets.  This was the “getting to know you” call.    With this call, we were able to sit down and talk about what I was looking for in a bouquet.  With the ease of technology, she was able to send me a couple photos of other bouquets she had done – just to give me a couple more opinions.  Originally I really wanted the Midnight Bouquet package, but after deciding that the wedding was a less formal outdoor summer wedding, we decided to change some things around.  Thankfully Kristi had the Davids Bridal Color swatches, So when I told her the color of my bridesmaids dresses, she Knew EXACTLY what I was talking about (Pweh!).  After that first conversation – all my concerns went out the door!Bloomed-To-Last-Samples

She sent me a sample of the flowers that were in the Midnight Bouquet package, So I could see how they matched with the Bridesmaids dresses.  Unfortunately, when I got them and looked close to the dresses, the Picasso was more red, and the dresses were more blue.  So back to the drawing board.    Between her and I, we were able to pick out the perfect flowers while still staying in the Ivory/White/Purple/Lilac Tones.  She verified everything with me and placed an order.  I swear she could read my mind. It never failed.  If I was having a stressed day – or a day I felt that nothing was going right… I would open my email and get a great update on how the bouquets were coming.  Never once did she do something without asking me first.  Every bouquet that she put together, She made sure that it was just how I imagined it.

After all the proofs were approved and the bouquets were all A-Go, I sat in anticipation of their arrival.   I tracked my package the whole way from Virginia all the way to Michigan.  And the day they were delivered, I specifically left work, just to make sure I could be there to take them inside.Bloomed-To-last-Box I opened the box right away, and emotions overflowed!  Besides my dress, this is the biggest thing of the whole wedding plan!  I know they will look amazing against my wedding gown…. And I know that they will look great with the girls holding them!  Lil Miss has even let me in on a little secret…. She’s going to be keeping her bouquet in her room… using one of the shipping “vases” as her vase!  I haven’t decided where I am gong to place mine after the wedding is over.  They are just too pretty to just put away and hide.Brides-BouquetThese bouquets are Very well crafted.  My bouquet has Just enough flowers in it that the stems form a perfect fit to my hand. I’ve even tested the Toss bouquet a couple of times… Just to make sure that there would be no issues for the wedding day! And not one flower moved out of placebridesmaids-bouquet

I have been truly blessed to be able to work with Kristi for this event.  I know I have bragged to all my local friends how amazing her work was. And how if they ever need anything… That I know who they should contact.   I am also a true believer in Excellent Customer Service – being in retail myself for years and having a family business.  And that is one thing that is hard to find.  With Bloomed To Last- you will only get above and beyond customer service.  If you – or someone you know – is looking for a wedding designer … Please take my advice and talk to Kristi over at Bloomed to Last!

Make sure you follow Bloomed To Last on Facebook.  She’s CONSTANTLY posting with amazing wedding and party ideas.   And for all those Twitter Fans out there- Make sure you follow Bloomed To Last on Twitter as well!

Awe too bad I didn’t know about this company a few years ago. We considered artificial flowers for our wedding, but I didn’t find any companies that really wow’d me, so we went with real. I should’ve checked Etsy!
