I HATE to cook… but I LOVE to bake! And one of my favorite times to bake is Christmas Time. I am starting to stock up on my chocolate chips, and chunks, and my cherries…and flour and everything that is needed for great Cookies! Nielsen Massey has an amazing line of extracts that will aid in all your cooking needs.
A little about Nielsen-Massey: At Nielsen-Massey Vanillas, we have been crafting the world’s finest vanillas and flavors since 1907. Founded by Richard Massey, who later partnered with Chatfield Nielsen, Sr, our company is still a family-owned operation run by the third generation of Nielsens: CEO Craig Nielsen, COO Matt Nielsen and Chief Culinary Officer, Director-International Beth Nielsen. Having grown up with the company and amidst the rich aroma of vanilla, they’ve spent their entire lives learning, studying and researching the best methods to produce pure flavors as well as how to achieve the best results in recipes and applications.
You will find me using Nielsen Massey’s all winter long … I LOVE Almond Extract… It goes in my Favorite Cherry Bits cookies! When I received the Nielsen Massey Extracts in the mail, I had to open each of them up – just so I could get a whiff of the Amazing aromas that will be filling my house over the next couple of months. I love the Smell of the Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract and also the Pure Almond Extract. I have fallen in love with the Nielsen Massey website. I have never baked with Chocolate or Peppermint extract – So I had NO CLUE of what to make with them. So I went to their website and found the Holy Grail of Chocolate Extract recipes . I cant wait until the summer to try the Peppermint Ice Cream! Even though peppermint reminds me of winter, I just cant bring myself to making ice cream during the winter! I so wish my brownies looked like the ones That they have on the Nielsen Massey Site. For some reason Brownies in my house never seem to turn out right (yet I can cook them fine in other households … Go Figure) If you are looking for a great set of Extracts, I SOOOOO Recommend Nielsen Massey. Make sure to find a retailer near you before you do your holiday baking!

Those brownies look DELICIOUS to me! I have been craving them a lot lately. I would love to try some of these extracts out next time I am in the kitchen baking (which is hopefully sooner rather than later!).

That’s funny, I love to bake but hate cooking too! Anyway, thanks for the info, I will have to show this to my mom – she’s a huge baker and uses extracts for everything!

I LOVE baking and after I move I’ll need to replace much of my old extracts! I’ve never heard of Nielsen Massey before! I’ll have to see where I can find these by my parents!
