My parents have to be the HARDEST people on earth to shop for… Well, maybe it is all parents that are that way. They seem to get what they want when they want. So I always have to find something a little different to get them. This year, I chose Coffee. Gevalia has a great line of Coffee that I know my parents were going to love.
A little about Gevalia: From intense dark roasts to exotic varietals, Gevalia offers over 40 premium coffees. Carrying on the legacy of Gevalia founder Victor Theodor Engwall, our coffee buyers travel the globe in search of the best beans available. When they journey to the slopes of Mount Hualalai, Hawaii, you can be certain our buyers won’t settle for anything less than the perfect velvety-smooth, mildly acidic Kona bean. And when our buyers visit the Malabar Coast of India, we guarantee they won’t be coming home until they’ve purchased the finest crop of full-bodied Indian Malabar tempered with slight accents of honey and clove flavoring.
Christmas Actually came a little Early when it came to my parents gift. I needed someone to help me review this coffee – So, Low and behold, my mom received her Gift early. She has always just stuck with one Brand of coffee – thinking that there was nothing else out there to beat it. But Gevalia proved her wrong. We received both the Colombian regular and decaff coffee. My mom can only drink decaff – so this was a true test. When they arrived, one of the bags was open and was spilled all over (thank you to the shipping carrier). The people at Gevalia were amazing in helping me get a new bag of coffee to try. I will have to give the mail man this – I had the BEST Smelling package arrive thank you to them! 😀 I personally am not a coffee drinker, but the aroma of these grounds almost made me change my mind. My mom confirmed that this is her Favorite Coffee blend so far! It is ground just perfect for her coffee pot. I think I found a new brand of coffee for her. Guess I will be looking at getting her some more for her stocking!
