Adrienne:
Adrienne Katke grew up in Southfield Michigan, the daughter of a registered nurse whose strong work ethic, sometimes logging in as many as 16 hours a day at the hospital, was instilled upon her at a young age. Upon completion of High School, Adrienne quickly obtained her cosmetology license and put herself through college by working as a hair stylist at an upscale salon in affluent Bloomfield Hills
As a teenager Adrienne would watch her friends frivolously shop around the stores of downtown Birmingham, spending all of their money on clothes, which motivated her to open her own retail store. In 2005 Adrienne teamed up with her sister Pamela to open This Is Me specialty boutique, aiming to offer Birmingham’s shoppers a retail experience that they couldn’t find at the local mall.
Inspired by her customers, Adrienne developed SNUG Camisoles in 2008. She repeatedly watched women struggle with how they looked in their clothes, whether it be because their top was showing too much cleavage or because they were self conscience in low rise jeans. Recognizing that women of all shapes and sizes shared a commonality of wardrobe issues, Adrienne sought out a solution and launched SNUG Camisoles, a collection of seamless one size fits all cami’s designed for women of all sizes. If you wear a 0 or 24 SNUG’s unique material molds to your frame creating an individualized fit no matter what your body type may be.
Being pregnant herself, Adrienne longed to wear a garment that would provide slimming effects and support while smoothing her growing belly. SNUG Camisoles were so popular that the line eventually accounted for 1/3 of the business at This Is Me, leading Adrienne and her sister to close the store and concentrate full time on the nationwide launch of their camisole line. Adrienne hopes that with SNUG Camisoles women everywhere will have a renewed confidence in their clothing.
The SnugCami line has expanded to over 15 different seamless styles. Every season they are bring out new colors – which always helps brighten up a wardrobe! The Snug Line can be found in over 500 retail stores nationwide! Adrienne now has 2 boys – ages 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old. Her oldest was recently diagnosed with Crohn’s. Adrienne and family did a walk for it this past Saturday. This great company is all about family, Kids and Helping Women. If you would like to see more information on the charitable causes board – make sure to check out their pinterest board. Pam:
Growing up in conservative Southfield Michigan, Pamela Broder aspired to introduce fashion forward trends to her Midwest neighborhood. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, she decided to open her own retail store along with her sister Adrienne. In 2005, Pam launched specialty boutique, This Is Me, aiming to offer shoppers in downtown Birmingham a retail experience that they couldn’t find at the local mall. Pam felt it was important to carry styles that appealed to mothers and daughters alike, were reasonably priced and offered shoppers a customized experience. This Is Me carried premium denim, contemporary ready to wear and a full range of accessories. Pam was responsible for the buying, ordering, and keeping accurate records of inventory to ensure that her store was catering to Birmingham’s diverse clientele.
One day while assisting a customer in the fitting room, Pam realized that every day women would try on clothes and struggle with how they looked in them. Either their top was too low cut or they were self consciousness in low rise jeans. Her customers were looking for an undergarment to accompany the styles sold at her store; a camisole which would smooth their stomachs and enhance the contours of their body. After searching high and low for the perfect camisole Pam discovered that what was available was either too short, poor quality or uncomfortable. With her customer in mind, Pam and her sister created SNUG Camisoles, a collection of seamless one size fits all camisoles designed for women of all sizes; if you wear a 0 or 24 SNUG’s unique material molds to your frame creating an individualized fit no matter what your body type may be.
SNUG Camisoles were so popular that the line eventually accounted for 1/3 of the business at This Is Me, leading Pam and her sister to close the store and concentrate full time on the nationwide launch of their camisole line. Pam hopes that with SNUG Camisoles she will be able to provide women everywhere with the confidence that she would provide her customers in Birmingham.
In addition to launching SNUG Camisoles in 2009, Pamela works alongside her Mother, a registered nurse, and together they own and operate a home care agency in Oakland County. When Pamela isn’t working on one of her many endeavors she enjoys vacationing to exotic locals with friends, relaxing by Lake Michigan and drinking margaritas.

This looks like a stylish yet easy to manuever about it cami. I’ve worn some that were just awful. The fact that they now offer up to 15 styles is also pretty cool. It’s definitely on my list of products to try.
