I’m not sure about the weather where you live, but lately it’s been pretty all over the place here in Michigan.  One day we had snow, one day we had thunderstorms!  It’s been crazy.  And with the crazy weather brings crabby kids who say that there’s NOTHING to do, and that they’re SOOOOO Bored.   That’s why we decided that over the winter break we would start taking advantage of the Family swim at the Goldfish School locations.

One thing that I love about the Goldfish Swim School Pools is the fact that their Pools are warm.  They keep their pools around 90 degrees – making it the perfect place for a get away during the cold of winter.  As it is, I’m sitting here looking at it snowing outside wishing I could be in the pool, but it is after Family swim hours and Peanut is napping.

That smile is one of the reasons we love visiting Goldfish Swim School. Both Peanut and Lil C are always excited to go to Family swim.  That smile does not fade even when they are going to class.  During family swim I get to be with both Peanut and Lil C together -in the warm water.  Lil C gets the chance to show me what he has learned in class. And he loves showing Peanut how he can go underwater.   He tries to get Peanut to mimic what he’s doing, but she’s a little too smart for him.  She knows that he’s trying to Teach her something, but she rather let the Teachers do that instead! 😀

During the week, Goldfish Macomb Members swim free.  And non members have a minimal fee to use the pool.  But, you’ll have to check the Goldfish Swim School location nearest you for their times and rates.
