When I want to learn something – I either look it up on the internet … Or I turn to books. And some of my favorite books have always been the “Completes Idiots Guide to… ” They area always informative – and tends to answer questions before I realize I even had them!
My favorite Idiots Guide book by far has to be the “Complete Idiots Guide to Raising Boys” Being a single mom of a 6 year old son, I know I have Tons of things to learn. and what better way to learn than through the Idiots Guide? It gives tips on suggestions on everything from Building a Personality – and building skills at home all the way though helping you deal with your son going through HIGH SCHOOL and… (gulp) COLLEGE! This is a book that I will be keeping next to my bedside all the way until lil C marries and has a son of his own.
The other book that I received was “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Amigurumi” And if you’re like me, you just said “HUH, whats Amigurumi” Amigurumi is the Japaneses term for Crochet or Knit Stuffed Toy. And She has a talent This is a perfect book for any young girl who is wanting to learn to create something of their own. It even gives step by step tutorials for creating these great stuffed toys.
