Even though its been almost 10 years since I have gone to college, I remember most of it like it was just yesterday.  I LOVED to learn, but I always hated what it cost to learn.  Ninety percent of my text books cost over $60.00 – And that was the cost of  Used!!!!!   At the end of the semester, you no longer needed the books.  Then what were you to do with them?  Most of the college students went back to the bookstores to sell the books back.  The best part about that, they only gave you 1/10th of what the books originally cost.  It totally drove me insane!  Yet I endured 4 years of college doing things that way.  That is why I wish I knew about CampusBookRentals.com when I was  going through College.  It would have saved me a fortune!  I have teamed up with CampusBookRentals to bring my readers some great information.logo

If you’ve never heard about CampusBookRentals.com, then you’re missing out.    Here are some of the perks of renting Textbooks:
-save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
-free shipping both ways
-can highlight in the textbooks
-flexible renting periods
– they donate to Operation Smile with each textbook rented

They also have a program called RentBack.  You send your books to them, Someone rents the books, send them back and the books get rented again. Each time, you get paid.   If you would like to see a little more about RentBack

As I mentioned before, They donate to Operations Smile with each textbook rented.  Here is some information about OperationsSmile:
Operation Smile is an international children’s medical charity that heals children’s smiles, forever changing their lives.   As an international charity for children, we measure ourselves by the joy we see on all of the faces we help. At Operation Smile, we’re more than a charity. More than an NGO. We’re a mobilized force of medical professionals and caring hearts who provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery and related medical care for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.

Make sure this upcoming semester you check out CampusBookRentals for your textbooks.

This sounds like such a better used book and buy back option than the campus bookstore option when I was in college.

I’m going to keep this in mind when the boys head off to college. It’s getting closer and closer, and I’m not sure I’m ready…lol.

RentBack sounds like a great program. When my daughters went off to college, it just amazed me at how much textbooks cost.
