Samsung Galaxy 7.0 Tablet – Review

When you’re on the go, you don’t always want to drag around you laptop. But sometimes you Smart phone is just a little too small or awkward to use.  Verizon sent me the Samsung Galaxy 7.0 tablet to try out for a few weeks.

 A little about the Samsung Galaxy 7.0 Tablet:  Measuring just 0.41–inches thin and weighing in at only 12.2 ounces, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is built to be a portable powerhouse no matter where you are.

Being a Blogger, My blog is my Business.  So when I did a little pre-research on the tablet, I found out that it has the SAFE Technology.  According to the Verizon website SAFE is: “Enhanced security features include on–device encryption for safe VPN access and secure mobile device management to give your IT administrator the ability to easily monitor, update and troubleshoot your Tab for business.” (Verizonwireless.com)  This feature can put any business owners mind at ease.

We used this tablet while we were on our Honeymoon.  It fit perfectly in my purse and had all the functions that I would have used on my laptop.  We spent a LOT of time driving in Florida … Well the hubby did at least.  I sat in the passenger seat.  While on the road, I was able to browse Facebook, Check my email, surf the internet, play some games and even get a blog post or two written.  
While in Florida, we were lucky that all the hotels we stayed at had Free  Wi-Fi for its guests.  But I have heard that there are hotels around the states that do not offer free wi-fi in the rooms.  The Samsung Tablet also features a Mobile Hotspot.  This does use your data, but it  is so helpful when you need to set up a computer to access the internet for any reason.   I personally had an operator error when I tried the hotspot.  It took me about 15 minutes to get it set up.  I have always been impressed with the Quality of products that Samsung has come out with – and this one lives up to the Samsung Name.
