I am a total pop-aholic. And I know that pop – with all its artificial sugars and caffeine is just not good for you. So people recommended that I try tea’s – especially Organic Based teas. Most of the Sweet Leaf tea line are USDA Organic certified. And to top it off, they are low in calories – anywhere from 0-95 calories in a serving.
A little about Sweet Leaf: “Our teas are all sweetened with organic cane sugar, not high-fructose corn syrup. So, compared to many of the other sweetened bottled iced teas, ours tends to taste cleaner and less sweet — with no syrupy aftertaste. However, if you’re looking for a flavor that has no sugar, we recommend the Lemon & Lime Unsweet.” (Sweet Leaf Tea)
I have never been a huge fan of tea – Especially Sweet tea that you would get at restaurants or places like McDonalds. So when I read that Sweet Leaf uses a different form of sugar than most sweetened teas, I knew that I had to give it a try. I received a few different flavors of SweetLeaf Teas to try. These I split with my dad – who loves sweet tea… So it was going to be a great way to see the comparison between what we thought of the teas. Much to my surprise (not really) my dad didnt have much to say either way about it. He didnt say he hated it – so that is a super good thing (Trust me, he’s good for making known if he doesnt like something). I tried the Raspberry flavored. It had enough flavoring that my minds stayed off the fact that it is still a Tea. I did like it though…. So I wondered where I could find this – Knowing that it is sold in Stores… It was simple to find. All I had to do was go to “Find a Bottle” and type in my Zip code and it brought up a bunch of stores (mainly Kroger) in my area. And If you are not able to find a bottle in a store near you, Sweet Leaf Tea is also is sold on Amazon.
