When I had Lil C, I remember having to wear the traditional Hospital Gown.  Which was Completely NOT flattering nor was it comfortable.  So this time around I am trying to find something that is a little more flattering and a lot more comfortable.   That’s when I heard about Pretty Pushers.  They sent me a Labor & Delivery Package.PrettyPushers

A little about Pretty Pushers:  “We say bring home your baby, not your labor laundry!  This is exactly why Pretty Pushers delivery gowns are 100% cotton and made with unfinished edges, no trim, and as few seams as possible.  Wash it if you want, but don’t feel bad about wearing it once and disposing of it vs. expending gallons of hot water and harsh chemicals on cleaning it.  The pictures are what will last forever.  From cotton to cardboard, Pretty Pushers is helping to keep American mills alive by producing domestically.  Our packaging is recycled, recyclable, and PVC-free” (Pretty Pushers)

I received the Pretty Pushers Original Labor & Delivery Gown, Set of Postpartum Undies and a Set of Nursing Pads for this review.  The great thing about this Gown is that it opens in the front to allow fetal monitors and its cut low enough in the back if you need to have an epidural.  I hated having my tushie exposed in traditional Hospital Gowns – and as you can see with the Pretty Pushers, Your tushie is covered.  At least this way when you get up to walk around ( as long as  you are allowed to) you wont have to worry if you’re going to moon anyone!

IMG_1371This is the first time I have ever had Cloth Breast Pads.  When I had lil C I just used disposable.  It was convenient – but it started to get expensive.  After receiving the Pretty Pushers pads, I have realized that this is a more comfortable way to go.  The girls are use to being surrounded by material (aka Bra) So these feel so natural against them.  Post-Partum Underwear_Hot Pink
But I will have to admit that the Postpartum Undies are by far my favorite item that  Pretty Pushers Carries.  I remember with Lil C cringing at the thought of using my underwear – because I was afraid that I’d mess them right up.  So I bought some basic dark colored undies, and that only half did the trick.   They just weren’t comfortable.  With Pretty Pushers, they have a drawstring waistband.  This offers a comfortable fit around your waist.  But that’s not my favorite part about these undies.  After having a little one, your girly parts tend to be a little sore. They give you ice packs to place between your legs, to help with any swelling  and soreness.  Well the amazing people at PrettyPushers thought about that fact and placed a pocket that the ice packs can slide into.  That way you don’t have to worry about them falling if you get up, or having to re-position them.

You can purchase these items online at PrettyPushers.com.  Make sure you take a moment to follow Pretty Pushers on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Wow! I had no idea that anything lie this gown existed. I had my son almost 25 years ago and there was nothing like this on the market. I’m so glad that new mothers can now have a bit more comfort and style. This is a wonderful idea.

This is cool, I like it a lot. My daughter will deliver her baby in August and I bet she would love one of these gowns. I wish they had these kind of gowns around when I was birthing my babies. Whoever made this is a genius.

Thank you for the helpful review. These items are way more useful than I thought they would be at first glance! Kudos to the designers for really understanding the birthing and recovery process.

This is one of those things where I think, “Why didn’t I think of that!” 🙂 How perfect is this for us mommy’s going in to deliver our babies?! Even though we are in the hospital, we still want to feel nice, and be comfortable! And hospital gowns SUCK 🙂 I wish I had this set for my delivery, and when I do get preggo again, I am definitely going to get one of these. The undies are super cute, and GREAT that it fits ice packs!! Love it! Thanks so much for the post and review!
