Pokemon Go Type Match Up And Locations Part 1
Have you tried the new Pokemon Go app? There are so many exciting things to do within this app that is entertaining children and adults all over the world! Discovering wild Pokemon and trying to capture them to have in your collection within your Pokedex is part of the fun! It allows you to have your whole collection right at your fingertips to share with family and friends!
Once you’ve tried this cool new app from Niantic, you are going to be hooked! Not only is it bringing out the kid in all of us, it is providing a way for families to get outside and exercise together through walking, hiking, or biking while searching for new Pokemon.
Pokemon Type Match-Up
After collecting a good number of Pokemon and leveling up your Trainer character, you may find yourself gearing up to start taking on Pokemon Gyms and engaging in various Pokemon Battles. Defeating a defending Trainer within a Gym is harder than you might think. It’s more than just having a high CP Pokemon. There are strategies built into the Pokemon world that many don’t realize. One of the best ways to have a stronger defense or attack strength against a Gym is to learn the Pokemon Type Match-Ups.
Bug Type:
Bug type attacks do double damage against Grass, Psychic, and Dark. Bug type Pokemon typically evolve faster than other Pokemon. Grass type attacks do double damage against Ground, Rock, and Water. Grass type Pokemon can be caught anywhere near trees, just like Bug type Pokemon. Examples of Bug and Grass type Pokemon include Paras, Bulbasaur, and Weedle. Ghost and Ground Type:
Dark and Ghost type attacks do double damage against Ghost and Psychic. Dark type Pokemon do not yet exist in Pokemon Go. Ghost type Pokemon can be found in residential areas. Ground type attacks do double damage against Poison, Rock, Steel, Fire, and Electric. Ground type Pokemon are often found in sandy areas along with Rock type Pokemon. Rock type attacks do double damage against Flying, Bug, Fire, and Ice. Examples of Ghost, Ground, and Rock type Pokemon include Gastly, Sandshrew, and Geodude.
Dragon Type:
Dragon type attacks do double damage only against other Dragon type Pokemon. Dragon type Pokemon seem to be found near large lakes. Ice type attacks do double damage to Dragon, Flying, Ground, and Grass. Examples of Dragon Type Pokemon include: Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite.
Ice and Water Type:
Ice type Pokemon can be found by the beach and water, along with Water type Pokemon. Water type attacks do double damage against Rock, Ground, and Fire. Examples of Ice, and Water type Pokemon include Magikarp, Goldeen, Seel, Shellder, and Squirtle.
