As parents we want our kids to have access to things that they love, like cartoons and electronics, but that doesn’t mean that they should always have those things. Tablets for adults are simply not made to withstand the hands of a toddler or preschooler. They can seriously be brutal. PBS KIDS has launched 2 things for parents who are concerned about what their kids are playing and watching. Introducing the first tablet featuring educational content and parental controls.
Even though kids love cartoons, that doesn’t mean that are cartoons are good for little ones to watch. Some shows just have the wrong content. When my young ones watch tv, I want it to serve a purpose. I want them to learn something at the same time.

It comes with 25 games, 120 video clips and music videos preloaded on the tablet. There is also 100+ hours of video on the PBS Kids Video App. The Playtime Pad features a front-and-back camera and a Paint Box coloring app that encourages kids to flex their creative skills.
