Isn’t she a beaut? All tough and strong looking. 
I mean she could work… She hauled Paver bricks… Mounds of Dirt… Rocks… Lumber…Moved all my house stuff….
Until Thursday… When her Trans Gave out. Thankfully she did everything that was asked of her over the past year and half…and MUCH more! And luckily, when she decided enough was enough, her bed was empty and she was only a mile away from home
With her hitting 300K miles, we decided it was time for her to rest. So we unbolted some necessary parts…and got her to scrap! (shh, I snapped a pic of Jeff while he was working on getting his hitch and bumper off)
But for us to be able to take her to the scrap yard, we needed something to tow her with…and that’s how we came across this amazing Chevy 1500! Such a bargain… Runs amazingly.. Has a couple dings, but that’s all cosmetic.
Lets see how she compares. She hauled the old truck, but will she pull our boat? That is the question.
