Bedtime is a very special time for kids and their parents. It could be a special story time. It could be a time to talk about something that happened during the day. It could just be a time for extra cuddles. Whatever makes bedtime special in your house, if mom or dad isn’t there for the special time, it can leave kids having a hard time getting settled.

IMG_1123The creators of The Bed Bug know how hard it is. After hearing her own daughter tell her how hard it was not having mommy read a story prompted the creator to make a stuffed animal that her daughter could hold and hug, and could her Mommy’s voice.PicMonkey Collage

The idea of the Bed Bug is simple. Parents can record up to 3 personalized messages. There are two 20 second recording slots. These slots are perfect for saying a sweet message and saying good night or good morning. Then, there is also a 3 minute recording slot that is great for a beloved short story.  For the kids, all they have to do is snuggle their bug and press one of the satin feet whenever they need to hear mom or dad. The best part is the message can be changed as often as you like to make it special for each time you are away.  Peanut loves hers. Her daddy and I have both recorded a message so when she’s not around, she can hear a little from each of us.

You can connect with Bedbug online and on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
