I think this is one of the “Cutest” Cars I have driven to date.  My mom on the other hand made the comment that it looks like it should have been part of a Disney Movie.  I can agree, but I like the movie … So I didnt care.   I was so worried about getting a WHITE car – I have a 5 year old… Nothing can ever stay white (but this must have been the exception to the rule)

The Hyundai Veloster is also a push button start.  When I first learned about the whole push button vs a key – I was like, ehhh, I like my key… But after driving this car, I realized that I loved not having to grab my keys out of my purse to open the car – or to start it.  I was completely Spoiled!  Thankfully though, I didn’t forget my keys inside.  I know that I would have gone crazy thinking that I broke the car!

My sons favorite part of this car was the fact that it only had 3 doors.  This is the 1st car that I have ever driven that only has 3 doors.  I am so use to putting Lil C in the back seat on the drivers side.  So, you have to imagine me walking with him to the car and going to get in and…. Voila… NO Handle… actually no door for that matter…D’oh!  I swear it took me a couple days to get use to it.  I love the reason that they chose the passenger side to be the 3rd door.  When you pull up to curb, you don’t have to worry about your back seat passenger getting out of the car into traffic.

Can you believe that I drove ALMOST 200 Miles and I am still technically above a half tank of gas?  I am so use to having to Fill a tank when I hit about 250 miles in my regular car.  I could have easily went 2 – to even 3 weeks on 1 tank of gas.  This is one thing that as a consumer I really look at when it comes to purchasing a car.  Especially with gas prices hitting 4.00 again in Michigan.

More and more cars are coming out with a Continuous Transmission system.  This For some can be hard to get use to. Especially if you are use to driving an older car.  With the CVT system, you may not think that it is shifting properly.  And for those who are good at driving stick shift, you always have the opportunity to drive your Veloster by manually shifting.

*I drove this car for 1 week in exchange for this review.  All opinions expressed are 100% my own. I was not financially compensated for this review.

Wow, that’s such a nice vehicle. How did you get into the car if you didn’t have a key? I’m SO ready to downsize. I have a huge minivan and it’s just me and my boys now. My mileage is embarrassingly bad! I think it would take time for me to get used to it, too!

That really IS a cute car! I’d love to see the 3 doors, I can’t even picture it. I’ve never even seen this car out on the road, thanks for the review!

This looks like such a neat little car!!! We probably wouldn’t have much luck with in since we’ll have three car seats before long! LOL But, I will definitely tell my single friend about this, it looks so cool!!! I love the three doors reasoning too!
