Do you know my least favorite thing about summer? I HATE wearing shorts in public… I dislike wearing shorts in private even… I totally hate the way my legs look…Its not all about how Thick my legs are, but my knees… I get white Patches of scaly dry skin…. also known as Psoriasis.

I was diagnosed with psoriasis when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I had it on my knees, my elbows and even on my scalp. I went through many blood tests…and even a steroidal treatments…. and the oh so wonderful Tar baths/shampoos. I hated those the most. As I got older, I realized as long as I wasn’t crazy stressed out, the psoriasis were under control. They weren’t totally gone, but they weren’t as noticeable. I was able to keep my stress level under control until about the time I got married… For all the ladies who have planned a wedding, you know how stressful that can be… and then having kids… even more stress added. Well, it has gotten to the point of Hideous again. So when I was contacted by NeoStrata, I was super excited to try it out.

About NeoStrata:  “A steroid-free topical treatment to help relieve itching, scaling, redness and other psoriasis symptoms. Psorent is clinically proven to be significantly more effective than the leading* prescription-strength psoriasis cream in improving and controlling the symptoms of plaque psoriasis.

  • 15% liquor carbonis distillate (LCD) in a fast-absorbing, quick-drying formulation
  • Convenient dab-on topical delivery system with no-mess applicator
  • Can be used on scalp psoriasis

I remember the pain that a tar based cream was to apply… And I hated that… I hated the thick gookie smelly gloop that I would apply to my knee… NeoStrata is a smooth liquid ointment that you sponge onto the affected area. There is some smell with this -just like any product that you will find for psoriasis.  After using this for a month or so, I have noticed a slight decrease of the scaly build-up…  even though I know my stress level has built up.  I’m sure that if I wasn’t crazy stressed out that I would notice more and more psoriasis under control!

You can buy NeoStrata Psorent Psoriasis Solution  and other NeoStrata Products Online. I would recommended purchasing the Problem Dry Skin to soften the buildup before applying the Psorent Psoriasis Solution.

*I received NeoStrata In exchange for this review. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
