One thing that I really wanted to make sure that I could do with Peanut was breastfeed. I have the opportunity to be with her every day (even though I’m not a SAHM). So I don’t HAVE to worry about am I going to be able to pump enough to keep up with her growing, like I did with Lil C. But that doesn’t mean that I am not nervous about not having enough of a supply to keep her happy. Have I mentioned I have a little piggy who LOVES her Mama Milk? Making Mamas Milk Cookies sent me 2 packages of cookies to put to the test.
The Making Mama’s Milk website Recommends eating 1 to 2 cookies a day. And one thing that I can tell you is that Limiting yourself to only 1 or 2 can be quite hard. These cookies are DELICIOUS! I personally ate these cookies as an after dinner snack. It killed 2 birds with one stone; curbing my sweet tooth an also helped increase my supply. The first couple months are the hardest on a nursing mama. Peanut went through many growth spurts where she acted like she was never full. I started eating these during one of the early growth spurts. I noticed that she was starting to get more milk from me and didn’t have to nurse for an hour before being content.
