One thing that I really wanted to make sure that I could do with Peanut was breastfeed.  I have the opportunity to be with her every day (even though I’m not a SAHM).  So I don’t HAVE to worry about am I going to be able to pump enough to keep up with her growing, like I did with Lil C.  But that doesn’t mean that I am not nervous about not having enough of a supply to keep her happy.  Have I mentioned I have a little piggy who LOVES her Mama Milk? Making Mamas Milk Cookies sent me 2 packages of cookies to put to the test.making-mamas-milk-3A little from Making Mama’s Milk:  Breast Milk is the best thing on the earth for our babies to eat. It is designed to be perfect. There are times when our bodies cannot keep up with the demands, so alas, I have a cookie for that! I recommend eating 1-2 cookies a day and making sure you are drinking plenty of water. Soon you will see great results, and both baby and Mommy will be happiermaking-mamas-milk-1

The Making Mama’s Milk website Recommends eating 1 to 2 cookies a day.  And one thing that I can tell you is that Limiting yourself to only 1 or 2 can be quite hard. These cookies are DELICIOUS!   I personally ate these cookies as an after dinner snack.  It killed 2 birds with one stone; curbing my sweet tooth an also helped increase my supply.  The first couple months are the hardest on a nursing mama.  Peanut went through many growth spurts where she acted like she was never full.  I started eating these during one of the early growth spurts.  I noticed that she was starting to get more milk from me and didn’t have to nurse for an hour before being content.
