I HATE Spring cleaning … How about You?
While many dread this rite of spring, your smartphone can help make the cleaning
process manageable and perhaps even enjoyable.

Verizon Wireless recommends the following apps that can help with every step of
spring cleaning:

* Good Housekeeping @ Home (free):

* The Good Housekeeping app offers the same trusted advice as the popular
magazine.
* Offers Stain Buster—an A to Z guide on removing smudges, spots, and spills.
* The app’s “Do-It-All Cleaning” section offers surface-by-surface, no-fail
cleaning advice-backed by the authority of the Good Housekeeping Research
Institute.
* Provides news and tips about how to keep your home organized.
* Available on Apple and Android.

* Clean Freak Cleaning Schedule (99 cents):

* Designed by working parents, Clean Freak uses the divide-and-conquer
approach to keeping the home clean.
* The app breaks down chores into bite-sized tasks.
* Users can check an item they’ve completed off the list, and Clean Freak
will show you how many days since a task was last done.
* Available on Apple.

* Spring Cleaning Planner (free):
o This app was designed to help with every step of the spring cleaning process.
o It is pre-populated with more than 90 tasks.
o Users can easily add or delete tasks, set alarms, and make notes.

* Available on Apple and Android.

* Rhapsody App (free):
* Nothing makes cleaning go by faster than a great music playlist.
* Users can play and download millions of songs on their smartphone, tablet
and computer.
* Users can listen to ad-free, high-quality audio.
* Allows listeners to build playlists or listen to artist-themed radio stations.
* Available on Apple, Android, and Windows Phone.

Thank you Verizon for this Great List of Apps!

    i like to check Apartment Therapy for tips on how to clean different rooms for 5 minutes each. they assume that you’ve recently done a deep-down cleaning in the recent past.

    These are some useful apps! When I think of chores, I don’t usually think of the smartphone as something that can help with them, but my opinion has now changed! haha

    How did we manage to live without apps? It seems there is an app for everything now and I embrace technology but really do not have much time to look at them while I am busy doing my cleaning etc.

    Now this is an app I could use. I like how you can check items off your list and it will also tell you when the last time something was done. Thanks.
