Peanut has recently turned 6 months.  Over the past few weeks she has shown more interest in eating with us, than just drinking her mama’s milk.   So we have started introducing Gerber Baby food.  Remembering how things went with lil C, I figured we were going to have a Picky Eater.  But I was wrong.   Come to find out Peanut LOVES her foods…And I have yet to find one that she has not liked!  She will eat the Green Beans, and the Peas and the Apples and Bananas and… the List goes on! And Peanut can be a Little Piggy! So I was so excited to hear that Save-A-Lot was going to carry Gerber Products!  I have a Save-A-Lot store right around the corner from me! And to celebrate Save-A-Lot carrying Gerber, Peanut was sent a Goodie box of all her Favorite foods!Gerber 2This is our Daily Ritual when we are at work. It’s quite fun. Peanut LOVES to help me feed herself. She’s always curious about what’s going on. It started with her first holding onto my pinky finger, and then she worked her way to holding onto the spoon as well. At times though, she gets really frustrated at me because I’m not letting her do it herself!  It is quite entertaining (and frustrating at the same time).  Now daddy trying to feed her on the other hand… That’s a totally different story… And it is Quite Funny!  After about 5 minutes of her looking each way and turning around and leaning over and grabbing the spoon – He give her back to me to feed.  I love my Peanut!

Gerber

So far she’s very content eating the Jar food!  She hasn’t mastered the pincer fingers yet – so she’s having a hard time eating the puffs… (But knowing her, its only going to be a matter of time until she figures out how to grab those!).  I remember when Lil C was just a little older than Peanut.  Those Puffs were Life Savers!

How do you get your little ones to eat?  Does your babe have a favorite food?  Whats his/her least favorite?
