A little about Live Love Dream: Live, Love, Dream is so happy to introduce the Kid’Sleep! Now everyone will get more sleep! The Kid’Sleep Classic has many benefits, as a night light, wake-up indicator for young children and an alarm clock for older children. It helps young children have an understanding of when it is time to get out of bed and when it is not. It is a great tool for nighttime self regulation, and the result is that both parents and children get more sleep. When the sleeping bunny (or bear or mouse) is illuminated, the child knows that it is still bed time (or nap time), and when the awake bunny is illuminated, the child knows that it is time to get up. (Live Love Dream)
Lil C got to try out one of these clocks. Being in Kindergarten, He has already started to learn his numbers, and can read a digital clock. Up until we got this Clock in, Lil C would wake up whenever….and fought me when he would go to sleep… Because he didn’t know any difference in the time. Now, He knows that Bed time is 9:00pm and when the clock reads 9 – and the image shows Sleep time – He doesn’t fight me on the bedtime. We did set the alarm clock to go off 15 minutes after he usually get’s up – and 15 minutes before he NEEDS to get up for school. The first time we used this as an alarm clock, lil C made sure to sit in bed until he heard it go off…And then RAN out of his room and into mine to wake me up (Which the clock did that itself!) This alarm is interesting – it goes from chirping to a rooster. And it makes me smile every day. There is no snooze button on this – so He knows that when it goes off, it means he needs to wake up!
