I remember being in High School. At my school, we had both Juniors and Seniors Proms. Since we had smaller Class Sizes, They did combine both the Juniors and the Seniors on the same day.   I was lucky enough to go to Both of my Proms.  My Junior Year I had a boyfriend. So as soon as I found out the Date, I started my search for the perfect dress.  Even though there was months before prom… My friends and I started to look through Catalogs of Prom Dresses.  I never realized until that day HOW MANY Styles and the large Price Range that came alone with these dresses.

I know that I have gone well beyond the Prom age..Since my Senior Prom was in 2000…But I still love looking at prom dresses. Some prom dresses can double as a fancy dress for a night on the town (or if u go on a cruise), or a dress for a wedding.

When my good friend got married, we searched High and low for the perfect Bridesmaids dresses.  Our shopping started around Prom Season  – So we had a Large Assortment of dresses to choose from.  The Bridesmaids all went with a longer length dress.  But the Junior Bridesmaid – she chose a short prom dress to wear.   It was super cute – It was black and came to just about the knee! She couldnt have chosen a better dress for this Halloween Weekend wedding!

I personally love to still look through Prom dresses…. Just to see what is on the market and see the newest trends. So when I heard about PromGirl.net, I made sure to take a few moments to check it out. Their webpage is very inviting!  If you are looking for a dress for a particular event, they do have a section on the side of their page that breaks the dresses down into categories; Such as Prom Dresses 2012, Cocktail Dresses, Formal Dresses and more.  I started my search with the formal gowns… I never thought that shorter skirt dresses could be considered Formal Wear.  But PromGirl.net does say it perfectly. “Formal dresses, like the affairs you wear them to, are not everyday occurrences. In fact, for many people they only occur a few times during the course of their lives”

I know that some of you moms out there are going to be having your daughters plan for prom soon…Or maybe it is a niece or a cousin or just a friend… Make sure to take a few moments and suggest that they look online for their perfect Prom Dress….Of if you are going to be getting married soon – I know I found a couple dresses I would love to have as Bridesmaids dresses.
