This month I have a few parties that I need to go to where dressing up is required. And when you dress up, you need to do your makeup. My makeup routine is quite simple. I love the natural look, so I typically lean towards just a tinted lip gloss. The downfall about the lipstick and gloss that I have is that it tends to wear off within minutes. When I heard about the LipSense line, I knew I needed to try them for the Holiday Season. I have been working with Marcia, and she sent me the LipSense Collection. 
A little about SeneGence & LipSense:
SeneGence is a marketing company that develops and sells personal care product through independent sales networks. They started in April 1999 with the LipSense Long-Lasting Liquid Lip Color as their premier product. This line was initially only 6 colors, a moisturizing gloss and a color remover. They have since expanded to having a complete line of long-lasting cosmetic colors and anti-aging skincare products. They also carry accessories and boutique items.
Our thoughts on LipSense:
Can a lip color last and not wear off while you’re on your date night? I would have never thought this was possible until I tried the LipSense line. This has been created to last 4-18 hours (depending on how many layers you apply). They recommend doing 3 layers – with at least 5 seconds before each layer application. The first layer is closest to your lips. This layer will break down the first and fastest. The 2nd layer is protected from the skin’s pH by the 1st layer, and then protected from the elements by the 3rd layer. The 3rd layer is exposed to the natural environment, friction and saliva. After you apply the 3rd layer, then apply your gloss coat.
The first couple applications of the LipSense color had a tingling sensation on my lips. This is due to the fact that the coloring has an alcohol base. The tingling only lasted a brief second.
