Memorex Presents the Yo Gabba Gabba! It’s Time to Dance! Birthday Party! In celebration of Memorex’s 50th birthday, the cast of characters from Yo Gabba Gabba! will join us for dancing, presents, birthday cake and more! The party starts at noon Central Daylight Time on Friday, September 9. The party will be available through noon Central Daylight Time on Friday, September 16.

We celebrated Memorex’s birthday with our very own Yo Gabba Gabba themed Party. Around 6pm a few of our close friends came over to Dance Dance with Yo Gabba Gabba and Memorex!  It was the first time that we had this many kids over at our new house!  Was a blast!    What did we do?  What else do you do at a birthday party? You have Cake and Ice Cream….Sing Happy Birthday and Blow out candles!  It was a blast!

As part of my party kit, I received a Memorex Party Cube.  I had to borrow an iPod to work this unit (i have a Zune currently myself, but the rest of my family has iPods)  We all took turns sharing iPods and playing a little bit of our music selections (family friendly of course!)  The kids all took turns Dancing and running around the house!

I tried really really hard to get a Yo Gabba Gabba Cake, but both of the Krogers in my area were totally out of the Designs … So we Created our own Cake – and Wrote on It “Happy Birthday Memorex,  Time to Dance”  This turned out way better than we planned!  Props to Krogers to be able to fit all that on the cake neatly!

Thanks to Cakes.com we received the cake shown above.  We had Pizza for dinner and after dinner… all the kids got to get some of their energy out by running around the yard… singing and dancing and just being kids.  It was especially fun because  there were 6 kids and they were all 7 and younger!

How did you celebrate Memorex’s Birthday?  You know you can still catch the live streaming online until noon CDT on Sept 16th.  I know your kids will love it!  How can you not with the great cast of Yo Gabba Gabba and tons of music?!

I received a Yo Gabba Gabba Party Kit to celebrate Memorex’s Birthday!  All opinions are those of my own.
