Trying to find the right gift for someone for their baby shower isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Not only am I expecting in a few months, but my cousin’s fiance is also due a couple weeks after myself. So I’ve been keeping my eyes open for something perfect to get them for their shower. Kushies Baby Sent me an adorable Newborn Essentials Gift Set for this event. This is the PERFECT gift for a baby shower – even if it’s not on a persons registry. Everyone can always use these Essentials. The set I received is cream, which I find calming. I’ve never been a girly girl – and I love having Neutral color items (unless it’s clothes, then I’ll throw in a little pink and purple). The Newborn Essentials Gift set comes complete with : one 100% premium quality cotton flannel receiving blankets, a burp pad, 2 flannel bibs, a pair of no-scratch mitts, and 3 cotton terry washcloths.
Kushies was correct in naming this an ESSENTIALS gift set. One thing you can not have enough of for new babies is bibs. With lil C, not only would he drench one while eating… but once he started breaking teeth – he was constantly drooling…And to prevent any rashes on his chin and neck, we would constantly change bibs. Also, no matter what anyone tells you – those little mitts are SUPER helpful. Babies nails are paper thin – and they will scratch – and give you what you think is a paper cut.

I really like the pin dot pattern and the colors for the Kushies Newborn Essentials Gift Set. I agree with you, this would make a nice baby shower gift. And as you said in your review, you can never have enough bibs. I never put mitts on my babies, but there were times when I wished that I had something to keep the baby from scratching himself.
I like it in green and I also love there burp cloth in crazy bubble
I love giving sets/baskets for gifts and this would certainly take out a lot of the work! I love the green and yellow ones, in addition to the cream.

I am loving this set! It is SO TRUE that you can never have enough bibs. I thought I had too many recently, but boy was I wrong! This set is perfect for a baby shower gift or a gift for yourself! The mitts are necessary. Babies WILL scratch their faces! Thank you for the post and the pics. The design sure is calming! Love it!
I had some Kushies when my son was little & really liked them! I think this would go right up there with the products id like/use!
This is always a great baby shower gift. A baby or mom can never have to many pads or bibs.
