Having long hair, it is constantly getting pulled up into a pony tail.  And then after a while, it comes back down.  Where does the hair tie go? Well, if its not bed time, then it goes right on the wrist. No matter how I’m dressed.  I have been looking for a stylish way to wear my hair ties.  That’s when Kini Bands came to my rescue.  They sent me out a set of 3 of their Kini Bands.

A little about Kini Bands

Kini Bands was officially launched in 2015.  They were originally discovered by Joanna while she played with the left over material from her swimwear line.  She used the strings to make bracelets, and used cord ends to cover the knot.   Soon after that, she realized that this was the solution to all her friends problems!  The Kini Bands Make excellent hair ties, and can come in multiple colors and prints.

Our Thoughts on the Kini Bands

kini_bands_3This is typically what my wrist looks like when I dont have my hair up in a pony.  No matter what, the hair ties attract any loose hairs, leaving a sloppy look.  But even when I have a fresh new hair tie, you look at my wrist and see that it’s a hair tie.

The Kini bands are made from a Lycra fabric that covers a rubber elastic that wont break.  The charm on the Kini Band is an alloy plated metal.  At a quick glance they look more like a fashion statement, as opposed to a functioning hair tie.  I chose the red one for myself.  I knew lil Miss would love the shiny red and the colored one.   After wearing the one for a while, I had no complaints. A lot of time I feel that the hair tie stretches out, or breaks down and snaps.  I have not noticed any extra stretch with the Kini Bands.  I love the fact that the metal piece does not pull on my hair – and it looks cute when at the top of my pony!

Which is your favorite Kini Band?

Disclosure: I received the Kini Bands in exchange for this post.  All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
