One thing that I am wanting to try to do every year is instead of the hubs and I exchanging gifts, get something that we can use for the house.  This year, we have been trying really hard to eat right… One thing that will help us do so is a good scale.  ReFleX Wireless sent us a NutriCyrstal Scale for us to put to the test.scale
A little about the NutriCyrsal Scale: “For people who are looking for an effective way of measuring theirnutritional intake, we have mobile applications and a wireless smart food scale that can tell you if you are meeting your healthy eating goals. Unlike the existing nutritional scales, the process of taking the measurements is fully automated. All you need to do is put food on the scale and record the data using your mobile phones, tablets or desktop PCs wirelessly. In addition to tracking the amount of your nutritional intake, our software also provides you summary reports on each of your nutritional consumption and compare the result to national standards or among your friends.”

scale-1As shown in the infographic above, the NutriCyrstal Scale is far above the rest of the nutritional scale world.   Some of the biggest pros of this scale are the Free Mobile/Desktop Software, Bluetooth Connection, and Multi-Item calculations.  Even though I am pregnant, I still do need to watch my calorie intake.  I cant just eat what I want to eat like everyone says.  I may be eating for two, but I have to be eating healthy for two.  The Multi-Item Calculation helps me keep more on track with my food intake. scale-2My second favorite aspect of this particular scale is the fact that not only does it work with the iOS system (iPhones, iPads, iPods) but it is also Android Compatible!  That is one thing that Sold me on this particular Scale.   It seems like now a days, everyone caters to the iOS systems, leaving the Android Users left to fend for ourselves.  Not NutriCyrstal!  Make sure to follow NutriCyrsal on Facebook.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Wow, that looks like a pretty neat scale. I have a very basic food scale. It’s not very helpful, lol.

That is really neat, I weigh a lot of my food out and have always looked up nutritional content and factoring in what’s on the label of products because I used Weight Watchers for so long, but to have it that easy at your fingertips wow!
