I have been trying to teach my kids that Everything you do is a learning experience.  You dont have to just be in school to learn lessons.  Life always has a unique way of teaching you things.     You learn by Living…You Learn by Doing….  You learn by listening to others.  Take a moment to watch Keep Good Going: My Uncle's Gift and see how this young boy was given the best Gift from his Uncle….

A little about Keep Good Going.  This is based off the idea of perpetuating the personal good that positively affects everyone in your life – and your family.  It is the Good you want to pass on to others – because you know it can positively shape their lives and their life experiences.  It doesnt matter how big or small this way is.   "The Keep Good Going Life Lessons are welcom nuggets of Wisdom and insight that are derived from life experiences.  They are often simple, but always profound because they touch on the truths that hold life together."

After watching My Uncle’s Gift, I sat and thought about my life.  Have I ever received a Gift like what the Uncle left for that young man?  Not persay. But I have been shown other Life lessons.  All through growing up, I watched how hard my parents worked to get us the things we need.   My family owned businesses and I work with them.  Fast forward a few years… Having gone through one marriage, and having a child… Then being on my own after… I was thankful that my parents taught me that lesson.  In the years that my son and I were on our own, Never once did I have to beg family for help… And never once did my son not have what he needed.   And now, I am a co-owner of my own business.  This was one of the biggest lessons that I learned – How to work for the things you need and save for the things you want.

What Life Lessons have you been Taught?  Have you had an exprience like in the My Uncle's Gift video? I would love to hear some of your stories.   Take a moment to Learn more about how New York Life can help you and your family Keep Good Going
