Its amazing the things you forget from your first pregnancy when you have kids 7 years apart.  I did remember the typical growing belly and The stage of not being able to easily get up off the couch/bed/chair/etc….  But the one thing that I didn’t remember having was LBL (Light Bladder Leakage).  And boy did this pregnancy let me know about it.Poise_5You have heard of the conditions “Sneeze-n-pees” and “Cough-n-pees”… But I swear I had the “Breath-n-pees”  and at times it was just the “stand/sit -n -pees”  It was crazy.  The first time that I had it happen, I was slightly embarrassed, because… Well, I wasn’t expecting to dribble pee randomly ….So I wasn’t wearing any panty- liners or Pads… Nor did I have extra Undies or pants!  Such a Pregnant Mom Fail!Poise_3Since then… I have made a New Friend.  Meet SAM (Super Absorbent Material).  The Poise Microliners are extremely thin and absorbent.  They provide discreet LBL protection that keeps me dry and comfortable all day long.   One thing that I did learn though about the Poise Microliners is that they are  the thinnest liners in the light incontinence category and are designed to absorb wetness, neutralize odor and stay three times drier than period liners.  And I will have to say – since wearing them, I almost don’t notice I have a liner on at all!

Poise_1One thing that I noticed is the cloth like feel of the wrapper.  I especially love that feature.  No more trying to Quietly open the Pad/Liner wrapper hoping no one else heard you. (or am I the only one that hates when others know that I need a PantyLiner?)

Poise_2(Always have in My camera bag – plus my camera of course)

Thankfully SAM came with me to my cousins wedding.  This was the first time I was away from Peanut for any length of time… And when you breast feed, your body knows when it’s time to feed…And sometimes the Girls Leak.  Well, I completely forgot breast pads for my bra at home… And I was leaking… That’s when I realized that I had some Poise Microliners in my Camera bag.  SAM to the Rescue! Stick them in the bra just like you would on your panties and Voila.. Life Saver… It save my bra from getting soaked, and Saved me from another Embarrassing moment.

Just a heads up for some new moms to be… When I had Peanut, I figured my Sneeze-n-pees and Sit-n-pees were over, but.. I was wrong.  They are slowly going away, but It takes time.  Make sure to take a moment and request a Poise Liner Free Sample Kit for yourself.

I wish I would have had some microliners on hand during my breastfeeding days! I can’t tell you the number of accidents I had with no nursing pads handy. -Thanks for sharing the samples!

I completely understand what you went through with LBL. I first experienced it when pregnant with my first and it is still around today. 🙁 I love these liners, though. So discrete and actually comfy.
