One thing I loved when Lil C got to about 6 months was him being able to sit at the table with us while we were eating meals or just sitting at the table chatting with each other.  But I have noticed that over the past 7 years the styles of high Chairs have changed greatly.  Lil C had 2 different high chairs as a baby. One chair was an old school wooden high chair.  The other was a newer, but bulky one.  They both did the job, but they took up so much room when not in use.  That’s when I saw the Joovy Nook.  Joovy sent Peanut a Nook for us to use.Joovy_1A little about the Nook: “The Joovy Nook is amazing. First of all, it looks fantastic! It has clean lines and is unobtrusive in the kitchen.  It wipes down easily and you can take the entire seat cover off and put it in the washer!  The Nook folds completely flat with one hand. The swing open tray is a feature parents love.  The tray has a removable insert  that can be easily popped off and rinsed after a messy meal (it’s dishwasher safe too). In the daily grind of parenthood, it’s the little things that help so much. It is so nice when a product performs and helps to simplify your life.” (Joovy)joovy2

My husband was extremely surprised how compact this highchair was when we received it.  He naturally assumed that there was going to be a lot of assembly.  But when he opened the box, he got a huge surprise.  The high chair actually was that compact!
Because Peanut isn’t here yet, we have been letting our Nephew try it out – and test it for us.   Recently we went to a family birthday party.  And With Lil A only being 6 months old, he couldn’t really sit in a regular chair, So we brought the Joovy Nook.  It is easy to collapse and light weight – making it easy to travel with.  The material is Super easy to clean.  The White Joovy Nook has Leatherette Seats.  To clean up all you have to do is wipe off whatever you spilled and Voila, all clean.  So far we have yet to find a food that stains the white.  Another easy clean feature for the Joovy is the Removable tray insert.  This insert is Dishwasher Safe!  joovyAs you can see, Lil A enjoys sitting in the Joovy Nook!  And we dont have to worry about him sneaking out of the Seat – especially with the 5 Point Harness.

That’s awesome that it’s very little assembly and so compact! It’d be nice to have in our dining room so we could walk around the table with no obstacles! Thanks for the review!
