I tell my son every day that we are Very fortunate for all the things that we have. Especially when it comes to meal time. Right now Lil C is in the stage that he HATES everything that is put in front of him. That’s when I need to remind him that there are young boys and girls all over that have no idea where their next meal is coming from. Did you know that at least one in five children in the U.S. may not know where their next meal is going to come from – for a total of nearly 16 MILLION children. When I told Lil C that, he looked at me in Shock! I don’t think that he really realizes how many kids that actually is.
There is something that we can do. ConAgra Foods has partnered up with P&G to make a difference. They are helping donate upto 7 million meals through the Child Hunger Ends Here Campaign. How are they planning on doing that?
ConAgra Foods is donating 50,000 meals to community food banks on behalf of Meijer, in appreciation for their fantastic partnership to end child hunger! Now what can you do to help this cause? Make sure you look for the little Red Pushpin on Specially marked ConAgra Foods and P&G Products. There you will find an 8-digit code. Make sure to go to The Child Hunger Ends Here Website from now until August 2014 and enter those codes. ConAgra Food and/or P&G will donate the monetary equivalent of one meal to Feeding America.
Join the Community and Get Involved. Make sure to follow Child Hunger Ends Here on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. There are many deals at Meijer the next few weeks that I KNOW we will need to take advantage of. With School getting ready to come to an end we are going to have to start to plan Quick and easy lunches for when Lil C goes to work with me. I’m looking forward to our next shopping trip to Meijer. I need to re-stock our Chef Boyardee canned goods. And if you are planning on heading to Meijer over the next couple weeks, Make sure to check out these deals:

Are you a Hunger Hayes Fan?
Lets Help Support the Hunter Hayes’ Road Race. Hunter Hayes and ConAgra Foods are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for Most Concerts played in multiple Cities in a 24 hour period. Starting Friday May 9, 2014 he will attempt to play 10 shows in 10 cities in 24 hours. Currently the record is 8 shows in 24 hours – held by the Flaming Lips. While Hayes sets his sights on setting the Guinness World Record for the most concerts in one day, Child Hunger Ends Here is issuing a challenge to break their own record for the most meals donated in 24 hours.
