With so many children’s books on the market, it can be hard to choose just one. But when it comes to Christmas, we try to not over do it (even though you can never have too many books.). We received “My Cats’ Christmas
“, by Kathryn Olszonowicz, and I think this is just the right book for Lil C this Christmas.
A little about My Cat’s Christmas:
One by one – Kitkat, Tiki, Lucy, Ethel, Dusty and MaggieMae – were adopted by their human “mommy” and were now about to experience Christmas for the first time. My Cats’ Christmas is an illustrated story in verse about six very special cats. Growing more and more curious as many strange, shiny and sparkling decorations begin to appear around the house, each cat decides to see for herself just what all the fuss is about. And when they are done, this friendly feline family starts a new holiday tradition that is all their very own. This charming cats’ tale will become a favorite in your home all year round, but especially at Christmas time, when all good kitties curl up snugly by the fire to watch the angels dance in their dreams.
Our thoughts on My Cat’s Christmas:
This is a great story for the children around Christmas time. My brother read this book to lil C. Lil C enjoyed it so much that he wanted to read it over and over again. It is a great book for anyone who has kids. The illustrations are very cute, and it is an easy read. And easy for younger ones to understand. And honest, who doesn’t love a story featuring cats?
