Jazz Up Your Wedding Reception With A Dance Floor Decal from Trading Phrases

With my wedding, I was wanting to feature something different – that I havent seen at any other wedding.   And one thing I never seem to see decorated is the Dance Floor.  I have worked with Trading Phrases in the Past – and glanced through their website again.  That’s where I came across the perfect idea!  I have had the pleasure of working with Trading Phrases and designing a Custom Dance Floor Decal.

I love the variety of uses for Vinyl Decals.  Not only can they be used on houses and Vehicles… But they are also a great way to make sure that you can add something a little extra special to your wedding.   One of my favorite part of this decal – was being able to work with an amazing Member of the TradingPrases team to get the decal JUST right.  I was so anxious for this decal to arrive.  I knew it was just going to be perfect!  And it was:This is what the decal looked like before applying it to anything.   Since we still have a week before the wedding, I cant display it on the Dance floor .. Just Yet.  But I  have an idea of what it will look like…  (Below shows what I think it will look like)The decals from Trading Phrases are Simple to apply.  Make sure the surface you are going to apply it on is clean.  Then pull back the paper from the decal – and place it on the surface you are applying it to.  When I apply it, I make sure to pull only a small section back from the decal, and then use my squeegee to apply the decal to the surface.  As I apply more of the decal, I pull away the backing.
I cant wait to put this beautiful decal on the dance floor!  Make sure to check back after the honeymoon for updates on this decal.

Update  9/2/13:  Well, Sorry it’s taken so long for the update.  When we went to put the decal on the dance floor that morning, the owner questioned me (even though we talked about it before) about the decal.  We ended up not being able to place it on the floor – So we are working on Creating something very memorable instead using the decal.  I understood where the owner came from, because I was the first person ever to ask him about using a decal on the floor.  Make sure to ask your hall before you place it on the dance floor.    Reassure them that it is Removable.  (but you will not be able to reuse it).
