I have seen many friends starting to talk about planting their gardens or posting pictures of the beautiful flowers that are blooming.  Well, In Michigan… nothing much is really happening.  It is finally starting to get out of the 30s, so gardening wasn’t in the cards … YET.   Until I recently received a GrowBox to get a Jump Start to my Summer Garden.  Grow Box 2

It is SO nice to be able to think that Spring is Here and Summer will be on the way.  And you know what that means?  It means Fresh Veggies!  Last year I got to plant a pretty decent size garden… But we will be moving before the summer is over, So this year we are keeping the Growing Simple.  That’s where the Grow Box comes in PERFECTLY!   have learned that cooking with Fresh Garlic and Parsley has made a HUGE difference in Flavor of our meals… So that is what you will be seeing in the Grow Box. This box came in 2 separate pieces, which snap together and stay in place (If you receive yours and it doesn’t seem to stay right, just add dirt – haven’t had any problems since).  Lil C LOVED helping plant this small garden.  Especially when it came to planting the seeds!  Grow Box 5Because this is freshly planted, we did a quick “Water Shower” (compliments to my hunny). I love how easy this is to maintain.  It was created for People JUST LIKE ME (the busy on the go, but love fresh foods person) I cant wait to see everything starting to grow!  I’ll be posting updates when they start growing!!!Grow Box 6

A very good idea – I do not have much room in the apartment but have a good landing area that gets sun. I will try planting and hope to be successful! Thanks.

This is making me think of how I can have a garden without getting on the ground. Containers do answer a lot of my questions.. thanks for the tips and thoughts.

I tried container gardening a couple of years ago, and got a little success but most of the stuff dried up even though I went out and watered it daily. Not to mention the weeds that overtook them. This sounds like my last hope for having a garden 🙂

Living in the Midwest, I decided to start my own garden…well I wanted to start my own garden last year, but I didn’t because I was always afraid a cold front would come and freeze my plants during the planting season. I never thought about this. This seems like a very good product to try out.

It sounds so simple I think maybe even I could do it! I love the idea of having this right on my patio too so I could easily access it and take the food right into the kitchen for a fresh meal! Thank you for the post and I’m entering the giveaway!

I never thought of using it for more than one item as a time. I do agree that cooking with fresh ingredients definitely makes a difference in food taste & quality. We love to grow tomatoes and basil and have bruschetta.

I love this I use to do it the old way save up trays and plant in them then transplant them to those containers that disappear when you plan them directly in the ground……………..Thanks for the great review.

I can’t believe how easy this is and how much you can grow in it (I thought it was just for tomatoes the 1st time I saw it) I really hope to try one on my apartment deck this year since I won’t be able to do a garden. great post/review-thanks!!!

These things are marvelous. here in SoCal where plants can get dried out or be over-watered by yours truly these plants that self regulate hydration and plant food are a wonder. they are really good for pepper plants.

This looks like the perfect garden for me this year! We still have a foot of snow on the ground-on May 4! Because of the weather, I would love something that could be moved inside the garage if temps got low.
