I love to travel places, but I am the Worst when it comes to navigating my way. Usually when I am planning a road trip, I go online and print out a map – and do my best to follow it (and hope to not get lost). I mean, I do have a cellphone that has GPS capability – but I’m constantly using it, so the battery doesn’t have much of a hold anymore… And will die 1/2 way through my trip. So when Microsoft offered to send me their Microsoft Streets & Trips, I knew they have just found my solution.
A little about Streets & Trips 2013: Explore the open road with Microsoft Streets & Trips. Tailor your trip with America’s #1 travel and map software, generate maps and directions, and find interesting stops along the way—all without an Internet connection! Let Streets & Trips help you find the adventure—not get lost finding it.

- Avoid surprises and delays—Download free construction updates and easily drag-and-drop your route to bypass delays.
Microsoft must know me well! My favorite feature is the way you can tailor the trips. A lot of times we take a trip, we are trying to get there the fastest route, but there are times that we have a little extra time…So the Scenic route is more fun. Having the ability to add notes to your maps also makes a huge difference. Especially if we are taking a long road trip – and stopping at multiple hotels. This is a great way to keep all your reservations in line. I cant wait until this upcoming summer. We are wanting to take a Road Trip down to Florida! Granted, we do have a GPS, but our GPS doesn’t have a way to take notes -like reservations and phone numbers. Nor can I take the GPS into the hotel room and work on planning the next leg of our trips!
You can purchase this online at Microsoft.com or at Amazon.com. Or one lucky reader will have the opportunity to win a copy of Microsoft Streets & Trips.
