Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

christmas logoI have noticed that this pregnancy, my skin has changed.  It is uneven, and I’ve noticed blemishing.  It is completely driving me crazy.  I can handle it when I’m just home – but when we want to go out with friends and family, I needed to find something to cover with a natural look, and something that wouldn’t irritate my skin.   Advanced Mineral Sent me their Pressed Powder to review.

A little About the Advanced Mineral Makeup::  Advanced Mineral Makeup is a 100% natural makeup line. Unlike other makeup brands, it contains no parabens, preservatives, or harsh. chemicals that would irritate your skin. Products are used on the set of Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS because it’s so camera-friendly. Natural looking makeup that just enhances the appearance of your skin. Can be purchased at www.advancedmineralmakeup.com.swatch_packedPowders3

Advance Mineral Makeup comes in 4 different celebrity shades; Taylor, Angelina, Eva and Halle.  Having a lighter skin tone, I went with the Taylor Pressed Powder.  Trying to find a powder that does not make my skin break out more than it already did, has proven to be a challenge.  The Advanced Mineral Powder has risen above the rest.  It goes on very light – and did not give me a Fake Made up Look.  Nor were there any scents that irritated my sense of smell.  The Suggested Retail Price for the Pressed Powder is $38.50.  It is not normally a price that I would have paid for Makeup, but with having such sensitive skin right now, Quality over price is more important.   If you would like to see what Celebrity Shade you would best fit -make sure to visit Advanced Mineral Makeup.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I don’t wear a lot of makeup these days, but I’m always on the look out for good brands because when I do wear it, I don’t want to look like a clown! Thanks for sharing about Advanced Mineral Makeup.

I broke out a lot in my first trimester & partway into my second, which was SO annoying because I am not used to it anymore! I’m glad you found something that works for you.

Hmm… This sounds great. Mineral makeup helped me with my acne. I’ll give it a try – maybe I’ll buy something from Advanced Mineral Makeup for my sis as a gift

I have heard wonderful things about mineral makeup. I actually have a mineral makeup starter kit on my wishlist for Christmas. I would love to find some that doesn’t wash me out. Maybe this is the way to go.
