Lil miss loves to be comfy cozy warm when she sleeps,  But she is too young to sleep in bed with a blanket.  So we have turned to sleep sacks.
We received a Halo SleepSack for Peanut to try out.HALO_SleepSack_Logo

Peanut received the Cotton Muslin Elephant Halo SleepSack.  The first thing that I noticed about this sleep sack was that it Zips from the top to the bottom.   Not only does this keep the zipper away from peanuts hands and face, but it also makes night time diaper changing so much easier.  Peanut honestly prefers to have her hands free – and has never really been too keen on being swaddled.  Especially after she figured the freedom that she had.  With the SleepSack she can stay warm, and still be free to move her hands and feet at the same time.    Another thing that is loved by both Peanut and myself is the texture and the weight of this SleepSack.  It is the perfect weight for the Michigan Summer nights.  It is warm enough that if the air is on, it keeps peanut from getting too chilly- but is light enough that she doesn’t seem to get too hot in it.

Halo has always been known for their sleep sacks.  Now they have something new on the market.   Halo has introduced the HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper.

According to HALO:  “This unique infant bassinet moves to allow baby to sleep as close as mom wants – closer than with any other bassinet, even right next to her in bed.  Yet baby sleeps safely in his own separate sleep area, thereby reducing the risks that are associated with bed-sharing which persist today as a threat to baby’s health. The breakthrough design of the HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper provides not only a safe sleep space for baby, but also easier, more convenient sleep for mom. The dual-swivel of the Bassinest Swivel Sleeper allows it to rotate a full 360 degrees from two different pivot points. The first swivels elliptically, allowing the Bassinest to be pulled into the bed next to mom; the second rotates circularly, making it easy for mom to angle it as needed, and making it more comfortable for her to get in and out of bed.  (This is particularly important to the one-third of new moms who have a C-section birth and have a longer and more painful recovery.)  The unique design also means baby is always close by and visible at mom’s eye level, allowing mom to reach in and soothe baby quickly, while mesh walls provide maximum visibility and breathability.  Its swivel design and patented retractable wall also help mom tend to many of her baby’s needs while still in bed for greater convenience and comfort, as well as better, more restful sleep.”halobassinestMake sure you take a moment to Like Halo on

Those Sleep sacks were a LIFESAVER when my friend had her twins! She lived with me for the first year of their life, and I helped her everynight get them into bed, and when they were really little bottle feed them every 4 hours. They loved their sleep sacks. That bassinet is also such a great idea, and woudl make it so much easier on new moms.

We received a Sleep Halo Sleepsack when we had our baby shower and it was perfect for our daughter. She went through colic and many a restless night but she always slept better when held closely. This is perfect for new mommas.

What an innovative product! I wish I had known about this when my little ones were younger. I kept my daughter in a standard bassinet by my bed for the first few months, and with only 3 hours of sleep per night, it was tough getting in and out of bed throughout the night to feed, change, and hold her close when she wanted to be. This would have been so helpful!
