School Just started here in Michigan.  And Life is already starting to feel crazy!  When I was younger and starting school, my parents would start prepping us for the School year routine a few weeks before school.  But with lil C it is sort of harder.  The last week of summer he spends the week with his daddy.  Which means, we don’t have any time to prep before school starts.

The first week of school is defiantly the hardest for Lil C.  During the summer he is use to being able to go to bed at 9pm and watch tv for 30-60 minutes… And being asleep by 10pm. During the school year he needs to be asleep by 9pm, because he needs to wake up by 8am.  During the summer, it didn’t fail, he would be up by 730 almost every day on his own, but now that School has started, I have to go nudge him to wake up at 8 and he then tries to go back to sleep!  Kids!

Some of the things that we are trying this school year are:
1. Night time Showers.  Some people will tell you that you should shower every day, others will say every other day or two… We Follow the Every couple day routine!  Lil C has his own little Frog Sponge and Shampoo!  We love using Johnsons Products.   Lil C has been using the Johnson’s Baby No More Tangles 2-in-1 Shampoo and conditioner, even though it is marked for babies.  We love it because it is a shampoo and conditioner, plus it is formulated to help prevent breakage in the little one’s hair (Shhh, don’t tell Lil C, but Peanut has been borrowing his shampoo)

Lil Miss is going into 8th Grade.  And if you remember middle school, there is a lot of girls who have Self image issues.  So we have stocked up on Products like  Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash (Pink Grapefruit) and  Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment.  Personally I love the Pink Grapefruit Neutrogena Acne Wash.  Neutrogena Acne Wash feature  Revolutionary MicroClear technology that pushes medicine deep into pores to fight both the acne you see, and the acne that’s forming below the surface!  And the Clean and Clear is shown to reduce pimples in just four hours. The medication starts to clear pimples immediately with maximum strength 2% Salicylic acid. They are reduced in size, swelling and redness, and the formula won’t over-dry skin.

These coupons come in handy when shopping products you already love. Like I love clean and clear, it works well when I get those small blemishes.

It is always an adjustment when going back to school. I like the Neutrogena products and the Johnson’s no more tangles shampoo I have been using for years. I will have to get me some of the coupons.

When my son started high school, I stocked up on acne products and Old Spice. He had just started wearing it and a lot of it, lol 🙂
