Lil C is in 1st grade this year.  And he’s asked to bring a Snack every day. With trying to keep snacks that are on the Healthier side, Im always sending a baggie with something in it.  And after the year is over, Ive gone though a while box of sandwich bags and added to the landfill. So I was on the search for some Reuseable snack bags.  That’s when I came across ReUsies!  About ReUsies:  At the start of the new school year we realized that our families were going through an average of 10 plastic bags per day between school and work lunches. We do our best to reuse and recycle in other areas of our lives, but there didn’t seem to be a solution to the plastic sandwich bags we were using.  We developed ReUsies™ for their waste-free quality, but many customers primary reason for purchasing our product was to eliminate plastic from being in direct contact with their family’s food. Whatever your reason, know you have made a good choice!  We are Seattle families with a passion to do right by our children, and hope that the footprint we leave behind for future generations will be much smaller. We take pride in our product and we hope you enjoy them too!  (ReUsies.com)I did receive a set of Reusies – Including 1 sandwich and 1 snack bag.  I love the coloring of the ones I received.  They are semi feminine  but they are still boyish enough that my son doesn’t mind taking them with him.   The snack baggie measures 6×5 and the sandwich baggie measures 7.5×6.  As recommended, I do wash these by hand, but It is great to know that if it is a little too much to wash by hand, I can always throw it in the washer/dryer and the dish washer as well.

One of my lucky readers will have the chance to win a set of ReUsies.   Make sure you take a moment to follow ReUsies on Facebook and Twitter.
