One thing that everyone tells me that I will need when peanut gets here is a Sleep Sack. So I looked online at the Halo Lines – and Came across the Halo SleepSacks. Halo has a line of Sleep Sacks that go from Newborn to 4T/5T. The wonderful people at Halo sent Peanut a SleepSack Swaddle for this event.
A little about the Halo SleepSacks: HALO Innovation’s SleepSack® wearable blankets have become the standard for hospital nurseries and parents alike. In fact, 1,000 hospital nurseries use the HALO SleepSack Swaddle instead of blankets through the HALO Safer Way to Sleep Initiative. HALO Innovations also offers free Safe Sleep Practices kits to childbirth educators to help further the cause of SIDS prevention.
I received a Newborn SleepSack Swaddle for review. This is part of their Cotton line. It fits newborns 19″-23″ and 6-12lbs. What is a SleepSack? It is exactly as it sounds. It is a “Sack” that your little one can sleep in. The bottom of this is completely sewn shut. There is a zipper that goes down the front of the SleepSack that will allow you easy access to getting your little one in and out – and also changing their diaper. I personally love the Sack Style Outfits for sleeping – because it gives your little one some room to move around in . With Little C, he hated having his toes/feet “restricted” in anything that had footies. He always slept better in a Sleep Sack vs. Regular Footed Pjs.
This is going to be PERFECT for the Michigan Weather. Currently we are in between seasons – One day it is Winter the next it seems to be spring. And Knowing that you’re not suppose to cover baby with blankets in their bed – Having something that will keep lil Peanut warm, but still give her the Snug Secure feeling is a must.
I really love that they have directions on how to use on the inside arm of this Halo SleepSack. Swaddling can be a little confusing – But having the visual instructions in front of you makes it easy for anyone to Swaddle your little one. There is also a great set of do’s and don’ts – especially for those First Time Moms.
Halo Sleep sacks can be are purchased at target.com , amazon.com and babiesrus.com. I know I am putting a couple of these on my Baby Shower Registry. I really cant wait for peanut to get comfy cozy in hers. Make sure to follow Halo SleepSacks on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
