I love my guy just the way he is. And for as long as I have known him, he’s always had this small patch of hair missing – just on the back, top of his head. Most people don’t realize it because he is always wearing a hat. But after a hard day of work, when he removes his hat, it is completely noticeable. I will be honest, I have tease him about it… But he knows I’m always just doing it out of poking fun at him (and don’t worry guys, he always finds something to poke fun at me about). Me: When did you first realize your hair was thinning?
Jeff: I realized it when i was about 25ish. Actually I didn’t realize it, and I was making a joke about a buddy’s receding hairline – and another friend pointed out ‘oh, what are you talking about?’ That’s when it was pointed out that I was starting to thin out on the top.
Me: Are you the only one in your family, or are other males in the family experiencing the same:
Jeff: Everyone on my dads side seems to have thinning hair, in one way or another.

Jeff: I don’t like it. Not necessarily “concerned” about it, but I don’t like it. It’s part of your appearance – that is completely out of your control. I mean, if you are over weight, you can work out or change your eating to control that appearance, but your hair…. There is no easy way to control that. One other part that I dislike about my hair-loss, is I don’t have the facial features to be able to shave it off.
Me: Why do you think that this is a sensitive topic for other men?
Jeff: I’m not 100% sure. I mean, its part of a man’s Sexual appeal. What causes most men to be self conscious about something? Women! – Especially for single men.

I think my husband is too far gone,,his is in the back an we tease him about it an he is so in denial,,,he says I cant see it so its all there,,yeah right,,well bless his heart he had to have a procedure that made him have to be flat on his face sooooooo,I came up over him an took a picture of the back of his balding head,a big round spot an showed it to him,,he wasnt happy but it was funny,,its really big so this wouldnt help him,theres nothing to attach too,,I stopped teasing him about it since Ive realized that he was seriously in denial,,sooooo,,your man’s hair looks good with that on his hair

Great results! My hubby has little bald spots too, but he just shaves it when it bothers him..lol!
Great results! My fiance isn’t balding yet, but he refuses to admit he has a few gray spots creeping in!

Hair loss is pretty common and I think most guys don’t need to worry about it.
That’s what I thought. I really didn’t know how bad it bothered guys until Talking to jeff about his.

Wow crazy results, thats awesome. I say whatever makes them happy some guys like “keeping” their hair and others are happy to shave it off, personal choice it all works for me!

i dont think hair loss is a good thing but it can always get better
